Social Action and Creation Care

We seek to respond to these obligations through listening, loving, and blessing.
At present our members are actively involved in
We are committed to welcoming and including all people, regardless of ethnicity, culture, sexuality and sexual identity. We are clumsy and fallible and sometimes slip up in our actions, words and attitudes. We are on a journey, not at the destination. Please forgive us when we make mistakes.

At present our members are actively involved in
- the Grantham Covid Support Group
- Christmas GRACE- a toy bank and distribution center at St John's Church for household goods and foodbank vouchers.
- Grantham Ark - the Churches' winter night shelter, email here
- the Passage- which provides food for those in need
- Grantham Food Bank- contact our parish rep if you would like to see if they can help you
- jars of grace - a UNICEF initiative in which participants take a labelled jar and donate small change for UNICEF
- lunches for lonely and bereaved- 1st Wednesday of the month 12noon - 2pm at St Anne's (on pause due to Covid)
- the Metanoia Climate Festival - a major climate festival coming to Grantham in 2021 celebrating God's creation and highlighting the urgent need for a radical change in hearts, minds and behaviours to avert climate chaos and mass extinctions
- the production of teaching resources around social justice and climate change
- detached listening on the Earlesfield Estate
- support for our local schools.
